In the past, getting help with Enrollment-related questions at UVA meant reaching out to different, and sometimes multiple, offices. Applying to the University, filling out the Free Application for Student Aid, or asking a question about your transcript? Try Undergraduate Admission and Student Financial Services and then the University Registrar.

The new UVA One Stop makes life easier by creating one team ready to answer any Enrollment question. Future, admitted, and current students, as well as UVA family members and UVA alumni, now have a single source of help that’s easy to find and quick to access.

Whenever we have the power to do it, we want to make life better for the people who trust and rely on us.

Steve Farmer
Vice Provost for Enrollment

“Enrollment has the privilege of working with students from the time they visit UVA as high schoolers through their graduation and into their professional lives,” said Steve Farmer, Vice Provost for Enrollment. “The launch of UVA One Stop is a great example of our Enrollment team reimagining how we work and creating real benefits for students.”

UVA One Stop is located on the lower level of Carruthers Hall, across from Barrack’s Road Shopping Center and accessible via the Gold Line bus route. Team members working at UVA One Stop have completed cross training in admission, financial aid, registration, and records topics.

Everyone on our team wants to greet students, hear their stories, and make their lives easier.

Rose Tyree
UVA One Stop Director

“Sometimes students need us to be listeners, advocates, or connectors," said Rose Tyree, UVA One Stop Director. "As UVA One Stop we’re able to listen, advocate, connect – do all the things students need us to – more quickly and more effectively, with the same deep level of care.”

Future plans for UVA One Stop include a move to central Grounds so the team can be even more accessible for students.
